The series includes five robust switches, with the newest addition being a 16-port 10-Gigabit aggregation switch. This switch features 12 10GBASE-T and 4 SFP+ ports, making it an ideal core for a high-performance workgroup or small business network.

The series also offers models with Gigabit access ports and 10-Gigabit uplinks, including two standard and two PoE+ models in 24- and 48-port configurations. These access switches each have two 10GBASE-T ports supporting copper-based Category 6A-based cabling, and two 10G SFP+ ports for fiber connectivity.

The PoE+ models have a generous PoE power budget of 370 W, capable of powering up PoE/PoE+ compliant client devices. The HPE OfficeConnect 1950 Switch Series is equipped with an intuitive Web-based interface for easy customization of network operation.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) models can be paired with an optional Redundant Power System, ensuring continuous power even if the unit's power supply fails, and supplementing available PoE power up to 780 Watts.
