It's a solid computer for it's price. Will it run games made 10 years from now, no, but that's because technology advances so quickly. If that's what you want, go spend $5k on a computer. The GTX 1650 is solid for anything older up to the last few years. The RAM, while not great (8 GB) can easily be upgraded. The biggest issue holding this computer back is it's motherboard, which is honestly unidentifiable, even after hours of research there appears to be zero info available for it. That being said it's still decent. I regularly play open world survival games on it like Sons of the Forest and Ark Survival Ascended.

I got this for the killer deal of $500 at Fred Meyer's. After easily upgrading the RAM to 16 GB for about $70, this PC runs anything I throw at it. I did have to install Arch Linux because I don't like Windows 11, but that's just a personal problem. Overall, if you can get this in person for cheaper, than this PC is a very solid option.

absolute trash bruh it literally is so bad after a year. you'd think if you are paying over $800 this thing might be decent and run well after a year, in minecraft on the first day it had over 1000 fps, i was happy and impressed, but now a year later i only have 100 fps which is a crazy low decrease, do not buy this! you can build a custom pc and it will be SO MUCH MORE WORTH IT. I CANT EXPLAIN HOW MUCH MORE WORTH IT IT WILL BE. if you dont know where to start watch youtube tutorials on what parts you need to buy and maybe a good prebuilt if you are afraid to build your own. this prebuilt is not it. The only thing you can upgrade in this is the memory/ram. If i could give this 0 stars, i would. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT I CAN NOT STRESS YOU ENOUGH DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

At first glance this PC seems like a satisfactory entry level gaming PC with a 12400f CPU, a GTX 1650 GPU, and decently fast DDR4-3200 RAM. However, the mask falls off after you purchase it. Here are a laundry list of problems with this PC: The GTX 1650 only uses HDMI 2.0 and DVI. NO DISPLAYPORT, NO G-SYNC COMPATIBILITY. The proprietary motherboard will limit the speed of any DDR4 memory you put inside this PC to 2166 Mhz unless you buy the proprietary RAM. Even IF you buy the specific overpriced proprietary memory to expand to a much more reasonable amount of memory, the BIOS does NOT support XMP. The case is a toaster oven; even with the side panel off, the CPU will get close to thermal throttling under load. Because of the limitations of the motherboard, the CPU massively underperforms. Testing it in Cinebench gave single core scores 10% lower than one would expect, and multi core scores 17% lower one would expect. This performance is seriously reflected in most CPU-dependent games.

The Acer Nitro 50 N50-620-UA14 Desktop is a PC from 2021. If one is willing to accept a prior year PC, then they realize substantial savings vs a current year PC especially with a discounted price. The Acer Nitro 50 N50-620-UA14 Desktop comes with Windows 11, but works just fine with Windows 10. All the drivers at the Acer site for this PC are dated 2021. However, NVidia continues providing updated drivers for the GeForce GTX 1650. Most recent GTX 1650 drives, at the time of this review, are June 2023. There are no available expansion slots available. The GTX 1650 is wide and is in the only expansion slot. There is no internal CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive. It's easy to purchase a USB CD/DVD/Blu-ray. Or, do as I did and pull the CD/DVD/Blu-ray from an older PC, put the CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive into a USB enclosure, plug into the USB port and use. There are a couple of USB 3 C ports. If currently no USB C equipment, obtain a few USB C to USB 3 adapters. These adapters simply plug into the C port and allow a regular USB 3 to plug into them. There is room in the "cage" for up to 2 additional 3.5 inch SATA hard drives. Sleds are provided in the cage for the hard drives. I do recommend maxing out the RAM, otherwise, with the included 8 GB RAM, there is too much swapping to the virtual drive happening. I purchased Crucial 16GB RAM DDR4-3200 CT16G4DFRA32A. If unsure what RAM to purchase, go the Crucial website and click the "Run a scan" button for the recommended RAM for this PC. Removing the 8 GB RAM and installing the 64 GB RAM takes less than 5 minutes. Just watch out for static when handling the RAM. After installing the new RAM I recommend right clicking on the Windows Logo in the lower left hand side of the screen, in the pop up click System. In the "About" screen that appears click, on the right hand side, "Advanced system settings". The System Properties dialog appears. Click the "Advanced" tab at the top. In the "Performance" section click the "Settings?" button. The Performance Options dialog appears. Click the "Advanced" tab. In the "Virtual memory" section, click the "Change?" button. In the "Total paging file size for all drives" Windows will recommend a MB value. Type in the recommended MB value in the Custom size Initial Size (MB): and Maximum size (MB):. Then, click the Set button. Will need to reboot the PC for this change to become active. What does this do? Prevents the virtual swap file from growing/shrinking and becoming fragmented as Windows will now allocate a contiguous section of the drive, in the size entered, for the virtual swap file. I also recommend downloading and using the Intel Driver & Support Assistant. I'm happy with the PC and happy with the price. After maxing out the RAM to 64 GB, I am able to run several PC/CPU intensive apps (for example: software development, photo editing, Visio, amateur radio applications and virtual PCs) at the same time without problems.

giant pile of garbage. no air flow, can't upgrade the case because the motherboard is a stupid shape, only has one fan not counting the cpu cooler, had connection problems for awhile (don't even remember how i fixed it), overheats, nitrosense is the worst software i've ever seen, comes with over 50 pre-installed apps that no one will ever use, and it's an ugly looking computer. save yourself the trouble and just build your own computer. even if you have no idea how to build a computer you'd still do a better job than whoever put this crime against humanity together.

got this roughly 2 weeks ago. thought ok its a gaming pc, it should do fine. boy was i wrong. the 8gb of ram is no where near enough to game on todays games, and if you replace it with more it will drop the speeds down to crap that was seen in 1999. i havnt seen 2133mhz speeds on ram in years yet here im stuck with that if i want more than 8gb of ram that only ran at 2666. whats the point of having a motherboard that supports 32gb of ram at 3200mhz but then disable the xmp profile in bios and not help when reached out to, just to get ram speed! most pathetic company i have ever dealt with. i will never buy another acer product again. what company thinks people wont upgrade a gaming pc????? complete potatoes! oh and nice to know you censor your reviews too.

I Bought this PC about 2 months ago and its doing good so far I play WarZone pretty well. As long as you dont have other apps or programs running the the background. It does getting pretty warm after 2-3 hours of continuous gaming but that usually my limit before my eyes hurt. Im learning quite a bit with this machine. One thing I wish this machine had would be the ability to add fans, There is a fan that can fit the machine but it is kinda of a pain to install. Other than that its A pretty decent machine. I would recommend it to anyone who might have gotten a little extra side cash and want to dip there toes in pc gaming. It does come with a wired keyboard and mouse. defiantly upgrade those before you want to play seriously.

Good specs for photo editing at a good price. Only complaint is not enough USB ports on front of the tower. Arrived quickly.
