Exactly what I wanted

Was easy to mount in the vent. Sturdy. It does put it closer to your right hand. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Works great.

A little difficult to use the first time, but once you learn it is generally easy. And it is easy to move from car to car. It also puts the unit where I find it easier to use than the windshield.

Works great, But be careful

This product is a good option to the suctioncup and weighted friction GPS mounts. It is well designed and holds the GPS steady and close at hand. Check the fit of the vent slats before pushing the tangs all the way in. If the fit is to tight you will have a heck of a time getting the mount out of the vent.
