I had to call Apple Support to register the plan over the phone because there wasn't a option online but I got the plan registered within 10 minutes and now my Mac Mini is covered for 3 years Uber AppleCare+. $49 is a awesome deal at half the price of the Apple direct plan.CARL J D : This is a extended warranty from Apple. Question should be it seems “Will Apple honor this warranty for your computer”. My mini hasn’t had a hiccup and I expect it is no longer under warranty.. have been thinking about treating myself to a replacement.ALAN S : A Mac Mini is a very capable and reliable unit, however, when I bought my mini I did not hesitate to buy the Apple Care Protection Plan along with it. It effectively extends the original warranty period and makes it easy should anything negatively happen, make an appointment at an Apple store to get it looked at and possibly fixed on the spot.
