Works finne, but is not ThunderBolt 3... you'll this one and another

Works fine, it is Thunderbolt 2 (which has gone the way of the Dodo...) I needed to go from Thunderbolt 3 to Firewire 800 ... so I had to buy another dongle... ThunderBolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3... the two dongles daisy chained worked for me....no problems.

Needed an additional adapter to make this work

I received a new iMac Christmas 2017 and the thunderbolt access on the back is actually a usb-c thus requiring me to go to an Apple store and purchase a second adapter to make this one compatible.

Necessary for FW to TB

Not easy to find these any more, but they are most certainly necessary for FW to TB. I have one at my studio in Pasadena (Mario Cee Photography) and another at home. Going to purchase one more for my camera bag.
