Great laptop

I ordered on 11/5/2015 and got it on 11/9/2015. So far, so good. I enrolled in the VIP and got a DVD driver and a mouse as well. The mouse is helpful, but I don't think I will ever get a chance to use the DVD driver. I think it is a brank new Macbook Air, no scratches, with one year apple care. The hardware is really awesome, 512GB flash drive, 8GB RAM,1.7 GHz i7 core ( although I don't know which generation it belongs to and its specific model). The intel HD 5000 graphics is not powerful enough, though. Also, I wish there were a SD card slot as in the 13'' macbook air. The screen is totally fine even though it is not retina and of small size. I doubted it at first but after a week's experience, I find it not a problem, and I am used to it, and I can enjoy the convenience of portability of small size without downsides.

Great and Best Apple Air 11 inch deal.

I took advantage of the phenomenal deal on the 11 inch Air 2014 closeout. $999 for 1.7 8gb ram 512 ssd. Apple Care 179. Plus $50 mail in rebate. The value vs cost is 5 star. Adorama had my favorite B&H photo beat this time. Adorama customer service 5 stars. They helped me alter my order before shipping twice. Sales guy just 3 stars average. Overall exp 4.5 I went to the Apple store to play around with the 11 inch because I feared it would be too small. I recommend that for everyone going from a larger laptop. I previously owned Asus 14inch Bamboo edition . During my test at the Apple store comparing the 13 and 11 inch it was not that much more screen real estate. The biggest effect is the decreased wrist rest area. The edges where you rest your wrist are sharp and not comfortable. Maybe the 13 inch helps with the discomfort. I am a petite size women so a bigger person may have even more discomfort. Over all 4 so far.

Great Utralight laptop at a great price.

My (2014) Macbook Air arived yesterday and is performing flawlessly. I purchased the 3 year Apple Care and the whole rig with warranty cost me just about $1180, a similar machine at apple store (2015 model) would have set me back over $2K. I will also be getting a $50 rebate from Adorama for buying the Applecare with the Macbook. Overall, very happy and would do the deal again in a heartbeat.
