Linds H : Does it have a disc drive?KOERY N : Not a traditional SATA type disc but one that is called solid state drive. The model you are looking at has 256GByte flash storage. The advantage is they are way faster read/write operation then the older style SATA drive plus they hardly take up any room. You will love the MBP!KLARA S : No, but you can add a Apple super drive for about 80 dollars. It is an external drive that connects via USBSARAH M : No, it does not have a disc drive. Discs aren't necessary as everything is downloadable these days.RONALD N : In place of a traditional disc drive, it has a 256GB Flash Storage device, also known as a Solid State Disc (SSD). It has no moving parts, no rotating platter(s) such as those found in traditional discs. It has no CD/DVD/Bluray drive, if that is what you are asking about. I bought an external bluray drive for reading/writing CD/DVD/Bluray discs. I will be buying an external hard drive to backup data from the SSD. My daughter is using this for college and I estimated that 256 GB of storage should be sufficient for her 4 years of course work as long as she doesn't decide to save a lot of movies/TV shows on it.TYSON R : No it has no disk drive if any sort.
