The fusion drive really packs a punch in the performance. It boots in about 12 seconds, apps open quickly. A big speed increase from the same model with a standard drive.

The mac mini is perfect for my needs. I was using an older mac mini which with the OS updates over the years was getting quite slow. This new Mac mini is plenty fast for simple access and application usage which had become unusable. Adorama was professional and easy to deal with. Fast shipping and would not hesitate to purchase from them again.

Memory is soldered on the board. Don't appreciate that Apple. Using apple mac since 1989, when they first came out. Apple should give some space to maneuver.

It's a good soiid desktop but apps like Adobe LIghtroom and Photoshop run a bit slow if you do a lot of photo work. Love the size and ports on the back.

Fantastic little machine! The 256GB SSD is VERY fast! I am use Adobe Creative Suite applications and they all launch and open my files very quickly as compared to my old iMac 2008 model.

I've been a Mac user since 1986, so I'm never too surprised when things go well with them, but I have to admit, I was little shocked by how easily I was able to move from my nine-year-old MacBook Pro (which finally croaked) to the Mini. Apple makes it very easy to transfer all of your data, apps and settings to the new computer, and the Mini has been doing a great job. And by the way, Adorama's price on the Mac Mini killed everybody else's. Oddly, I also drive a Mini, which has nothing to do with this review, but the coincidence just occurred to me.

Getting this at an Adorma VIP price made this a great purchase. OSX really needs 16GB, and since Apple now only offers soldered RAM, that really limited buying options because it pushed prices artificially high (IMHO). Adorama offered this particular Mac Mini for the price Apple should have in the first place. I'm using this as a server, and it's perfect.

I was upgrading from a 2011 i5/2.7Ghz w/16mg RAM to a 2015 i7/3.0 w/16mg of Ram. I also opted for the Fusion drive. The most notable comparison was the time Lightroom took to open. It used to take about 1-1.5 minutes to open, now is less than 10 seconds. This is true for all other programs. The other noticeable item for me was the upgrade of the USB 3.0 port from 2.0. My external drives are firewire 800, but using the USB 3.0 external drive definitely seems faster than the FW 800. Overall a good move for speed.

Fantastic thing for every age group and you can make difference from windows. Configuration is pretty good and no lag anywhere. Happy to spend money
