Product wise, I'm not sure it's worth the money. I expected more for the cost. I don't t see anything great about the 4K monitor. Only time will tell if it was a good buy. We have not had any issues with it. Shipping was fast and excellent.

I bought this to replace a 2009 27" iMac. While I miss the larger screen real estate, this machine has features that more than make up for it. The clarity of the 4K display is great for editing photos. I opted to max out the RAM as it is not user upgradable. I also chose the fusion drive as I wanted a machine which was quick to start up, yet has a large rotation drive capacity at only a small price increase. I couldn't be happier with the speed of booting and lsunching applications. I also ordered the external SuperDrive as I like to rip music and DVD's to import into iTunes. My only complaint was the included wireless keyboard. I tried it for a week before going back to my larger wired keyboard. I feel the wireless keyboard is too flat and doesn't provide enough feedback. I'm sure this iMac will give me years of great service.

I bought this machine to replace a six year old imac. In many ways, it is identical, but the retina 4K display and the much faster processing time make this new one a real pleasure to use. It doesn't seem to want to recognize my external Verbatim time machine, which is annoying, but I am sure that a call to tech support will help me fix that problem. Otherwise, no complaints.

I was looking around for the best price on a very nice Apple iMac 21.5" Retina computer and having trouble finding the right setup. Then I checked out Adorama where I have considerable luck before and sure enough, they had the exact model in the configuration I wanted. My Apple 21.5" iMac Retina comes with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. The SSD option is what tipped the scales for me and I thank Adorama for giving me the choice to select my own configuration. No other place that I shopped had a "build-your-own" option and that sealed the deal for me. Shipping was fast and excellent. I like that I have to sign to receive the shipment. At these prices, positive control of the delivered product is essential. I will definitely be buying from Adorama the next time I'm in the market for a new Apple computer or just about any other electronic device. Their prices are super and service is excellent.

Already had the iMac 2010. Filled it up. Honestly, I don't see this display as that much different, both are awesome. 21.5 is fine for me, but if I had the room I would get the larger display, not much more money. Upgraded the ram & fusion drive. Very fast, smooth. iMacs are all I want any more. Adorama is so easy to deal with, & saved me about ($) over Apple store.

This computer is amazingly fast. I have been using an obsolete, eight year old, 17" Macbook Pro which is very slow compared to this computer. It's a joy to use. Adorama was very good to deal with. I believe their price was the best on the internet.

This iMac replaces a four-year old 13" MacBook Pro (non-Retina), with which I'd begun to have some difficulties (age, I am certain, played a role). The IMac is so much quicker and the Retina display make everything easier to see work with. Totally dig this machine.

I would definitely recommend this model for anyone wanting a top of the line iMac. I do a lot of photo processing so having the faster processor and increased ram was a necessity for me.

Now that I've gotten my files migrated from my 2008 MacBook (easy once I used a remote HD to back up and then upload). It's fast, sleek, smooth and the 4K Retina screen ... fantastic! I just viewed Adele's video "Hello" full screen. On my MacBook it was good. Here it's absolutely fantastic. The resolution, sharpness, vividness is stunning and worth the price. I opted for a 256 GB SSD as I never again want to see the spinning wheel of death as a drive tries to pull up files. Had I little more $$ I would have opted for at least a 512, but SSD is the future, the standard HD is the past. And I have a 1TB remote HD for storing old files and photos. I don't know what else to add other that this computer is stunning. And my files, programs and documents migrated completely, even my screen saver! I had to wait about 2-1/2 weeks for delivery, but I reaiize my configuration is not the a standard one. I was patient and it was worth the wait. Product arrived safe, sound and just as ordered.

I needed an iMac server for a heavily used database. My employee will be staring at this computer seven to eight hours per day. The 4K display, the silent flash drive and the performance options should fit the bill nicely.

This new iMac is fantastic! The 4K screen is awesome for text and pics alike. Even the built in sound system is quite good. For what I needed / wanted, this unit fits the bill very nicely. Being a longtime Windows PC guy, the learning curve is progressing nicely. So far, so good! I can recommend without reservation.
