I've been a Mac user for almost 10 years and while I'm unwilling to participate in the Mac v Windows debate, I will say if you want a Mac this is a great deal. It runs great. Adorama was very professional, everything came just the way they said it would. I was out of country when I ordered and it came in just in time for me to come home. So that was great service.

Love the size of the computer. I enjoy the large trackpad. The keyboard is nice how the buttons don't depress so low but they do make more noise than anticipated. I love the simplicity of it and only having four ports. Looks clean and I am over having all of these old antiquated ports. The sound and speakers are awesome and I totally dig the space grey color. The touch bar is a little annoying when your finger accidentally touches it and it changes what you were doing unintentionally. It'll take getting used to. And seriously: no magsafe charger?!?! That almost makes me want to not have the computer in and of itself.

Apple user for many years. Just upgraded from an very old MacBook that I was sorry to see die. The MacBook Pro (late 2016) is a great machine. I was skeptical about the additional price for the touch bar I do like the word suggestions when typing. Still getting use to the track pad for a right click. Processing speed is also very fast. I would recommend the purchase and Adorama got it to me within a few days.

MacBook Pro is great, of course! And buying it through Adorama saved me several hundred dollars over getting it through the Apple Store, which was my original plan. My only complaint is that shipping was delayed a day from what was promised, but that may have been FedEx's fault - I got notification that the package was waiting for pickup on Monday morning, but it didn't actually get picked up until Tuesday.

Waited nearly a year to get this and am very happy that I did. Yes, it costs more than it did (but so do other things) and yes, there are restrictions on what you can upgrade and what you can't. But this still a Mac and that's what I prefer. You can get laptops with better specs but they all come with the 'other' OS and on that spec, I'm not willing to negotiate. I use it enough at work that I don't need to deal with it while I'm doing personal stuff. Beautiful finish, and still the standard to beat.

Sometimes at startup, screen gets covered with small uniform block like characters. Activation of app makes the characters go away. This can not be normal. Will go to Apple store if it continues. Have never seen this on older RMBP.

I love love love my new laptop and got an excellent price on Black Friday weekend. The item was backordered and when finally shipped I attempted to change the credit card it was paid on - I was advised by customer service this was not possible. It would have been a very easy fix to charge on an alternate credit card as a courtesy and reverse original charges -- but your customer service department declined to do so. As a result I am unlikely to order from you again.

New Late 2016 Macbook pro is awesome to use. It is very slim and has solid build quality. The display is gorgeous and touchbar is nice to use. The only grudge is lack of ports and lower than expected battery life. But apart from above 2 points it excels in every other departments.

Pros: slim, fast, awesome screen, very portable, battery lasts my day-time work for just office use. Cons: too many transmit cables are needed: from USB-C to USB, to HD, to VGA. If you need another power adapter in office, the cable is even not included. Too pricy: I got this with adorama and it saved me about 100 bucks compare to the Apple education store. But this is still about double of my original budget for a new laptop.

The last time I bought a computer was 2010 and it was an iMac. Love the iMac, but I needed a new laptop. I am a freelance writer and blogger and needed something portable. I've read countless reviews on the new MacBook Pro and I was nervous to receive it, because I have read some people really don't like the new features. I can now say with certainty I am so glad I bought it! Things I love: the touch ID feature, the touch bar, and the new keyboard. Things I am mediocre about but they don't bother me too much: the battery life (I am usually plugged into a monitor when I'm on my laptop) and no USB ports. I would rather have a thinner, lighter laptop than USBs. That's what dongles are for, right? I scoured the web for a great deal around Black Friday and finally found Adorama's special sale. It was the best price I could find BY FAR. So, thank you, Adorama and Apple! Very pleased with my purchase.
