Let's start with the aesthetics....the Space Grey is simply Gorgeous!!! We've had this for about a month now and the laptop works great. No complaints so far. Fast processor and battery life is pretty good. We don't play games on it so battery life is not an issue.

I bought this to replace my early 2011 MacBook Pro, which has performed very well over the years. I purchased this new MBP with Touchbar a few months ago (fully decked out with the fastest processor and Ra460 graphics and 1TB SSD), wondering if the Touchbar would actually be useful. It is, and I think that a lot of software developers will be building it into their programs. My old MBP was the absolutely the best laptop I had ever owned - and I have owned a ton of laptops over the past few decades. The old MBP still runs great with a new SSD and battery installed - the college student to whom I gifted it was very appreciative. This new MBP is incredibly fast, has a very nice keyboard (took a little bit of time to get used to it, along with the force-touch trackpad). The display is incredible - amazing, really. Super-fast, and highly recommended if you have the bucks.

I've been an Apple pro notebook user for thirteen years (2004 PowerBook G4, 2010 MacBook Pro, now this), and I've had many other Apple notebooks pass through my home during that time. At times my confidence has dipped in the future of the lineup, but I can only say that I'm extremely pleased with this 2017 MacBook Pro. That said, the current design has required some getting used to on my part. Here's a rundown of my favorite and challenging features: Favorite features: beautiful screen, more compact form factor, lightning fast performance, nice new color (space gray), thin keyboard, promising touch bar, redesigned power supply with detachable USB-C power cable Challenging features: USB-C ports only ("a one-way ticket to Dongladesh," as my friend says, since every connection requires a dongle for now), not exactly lightweight, thin keyboard On the whole, I really love it. I'm still getting used to all the bells and whistles, but I'm convinced most of the advances here are going to continue to please over the next few years.

Nothing went wrong. It was all in order and on time. The computer is the fastest one I've ever used, and the touch bar has been great. It works well with solid works over bootcamp, and the speakers with Logic Pro are outstanding. Renders are quick and the boot up time is something like 10 seconds. It cannot be beat. ??

I just upgraded from a 2011 MacBook Pro to the new 2016 version. What I love about it most is that it just works! My old laptop hung, shut down, or needed frequent repairs while the new one just cruises along without a hitch. The 2016 version is also significantly lighter and has about 4 more hours of battery life than my old one. Definitely worth the investment. The people at Adorama were also very helpful. I made the purchase over the phone in about 10 minutes. I would buy from them again.

Not a thing to dislike about the new MBP. The 15" version is almost matchless when you take all factors into account: form, power, display, connectivity. The persistence of Apple on USB-C should be questioned, but still it's not a big deal for me. Price is comparable to other manufacturer's analogous computers. If you want a portable powerful Mac, you can't go wrong with a 15" Late 2016 MBP.

Great Macbook Pro. I didn't give them a 5-star review because I consider Apple should use Pro graded graphic cards for the Pro lineup. AMD graphic cards are far from that. But the design, SSD speed and screen are by far the best you can buy. The battery is good but I got more time out of my 2014 Macbook Pro.

So, sure... USB-C is a pain (for now). And yes... the touch-bar is pretty gimmicky. But this is the best laptop I've had the pleasure to work with. It pushes pixels like no other, working with a 4K display, 3440x1440 super-widescreen display, and its own beautiful retina display - simultaneously.

Battery life is 4 hours max. Sometimes, I don't even get 4 hours. And I am basically only using Word, PowerPoint and Internet. I am considering returning the machine as the battery life is nowhere near the advertised 10 hours.

This computer is very capable. I upgraded my 15 inch tMBP with a 512 SSD and 4GB VRAM. This is great for the photography I do, and also can Bootcamp into Windows 10 with ease. It's expensive, but was worth the investment.

I ordered this before the second Consumer Reports review came out, so I was wondering if it would be great or a flop – and it's great! The battery lasts for most of the day (mainly just data entry and research) and the screen is a beaut. Honestly I haven't been this excited over a mac since the Dual 533 G4 in 2001. Buying from Adorama was very hassle free and simple. Very happy.

There are plenty of reviews online that you can look at, but you can disregard many of the complaints about battery life. I am getting 10+ hours every charge for light browsing, and about 4 for heavy use. It's a great computer and should be powerful enough for most people.
