Awesome piece of equipment. Picked it up for personal use primarily around graduate school activities. I also use it frequently for work as it is so much faster than my work laptop. I love the keyboard, though it takes some getting used to. The new trackpad is fantastic and very responsive. Additionally, it has yet to register my palms as inputs like most laptops do. A+

Bright beautiful screen, thin and light weight, beautiful case colors and fastest functioning laptop I have owned. (This is my 4th MacBook). My only frustration is that the new touchpad takes some getting used to. (retraining my fingers and pressure). Quality is its own reward!

Everything runs fast and smoothly with the exception of large data transfers like from the GoPro to the MB. That is probably a limitation of the dongle though (I'll probably purchase a direct cable for this reason). Still learning the basics coming from a Windows laptop, but I'm enjoying it so far. Boot up is a bit slower than my old Sony Vaio that had an SSD (cold starts). TouchID makes purchasing and logins a joy. The touch bar is useful in some aspects and devoid of usefulness in other ways. I'm hoping it gets integrated a lot more in the future. I like it overall.

This edition of the MBP is great because it has all the functions that I want. As Apple has updated their MBPs into the USB-C, the current peripheral tech hasn't caught up to it yet, therefore I chose this MBP over the new(er) one. This has Flash SSD memory, fast and easy boot. awesome retina display, great for range of casual computer user to semi-pro working on intensive graphic such as Photoshop

I moved from a 17 inch MacBook Pro to the 13 inch after testing in the store. The new MacBook Pro is significantly faster, an impressive display, and at 3 lbs carrying it is similar to the large iPad Pro. I'm adapting to the touch bar and finding it more useful every day. I chose to purchase from Adorama because they had the high end model in stock and offered a free super drive. Service from Adorama was great.

This MacBook is very thin and powerful, the touchpad is pretty cool but honestly I wish it was touchscreen, I used to have a touchscreen and it was pretty useful for when you were in bed feeling lazy and you wanted to just use it as a sort of tablet. You will need to get a usb c adapter to be able to use SD cards, and regular usb drives because noting has transferred to usb c yet so its pretty inconvenient. The price was really good, I ended up getting it for 1710 including applecare so that was cool. The screen quality is amazing.

I finally upgraded from my 2010 15" Macbook with this purchase. My biggest debate on this was between the revamped 2016 model or the older 2015 version with the biggest concern being the USB-C being the only interface and the keyboard. I decided to go for the latest model and have been happy with that decision. USB-C only I grabbed a couple USB to USB-C converters for $ and that has helped in the rare occasions I have needed to plug something in. Keyboard No issues typing on this machine it is a breeze and is a complete non issue. I keep my machines for a long time and made basic repairs on my old laptop. This rig has a very low repair rating so that is why I knocked a star off.

This is my first Apple purchase after using PCs for more than 20 years. I've only used it for a couple weeks, but I'm impressed so far. It is slim and mobile, maybe a little on the heavy side for such a thin laptop. The touch bar is very cool and we'll designed, but I haven't trained myself to use it consistently. The battery life is great. I haven't been able to run it from fully charged to dead yet, but it has lasted through a 24 hour shift. Love it.

Unfortunately after the first week of blissful use, my brand new MacBook Pro glitched on me for three hours. Audio driver/codec was no where to be found and the resources were at max capacity without running much of anything. I may have a lemon, so I am sending it back.
