it's not the new 2018 model, but it's still great for what I use it for. good size for school/college use/notes, etc. Apple Pencil helps a ton. and Adorama is awesome with prices and customer service.

This is my third tablet and this might be more user friendly for the photographer. With the use of the pen mLightroom on the tablet might be a better on a road trip. I don’t have a pen or a card reader, therefore I haven’t tested the loading of photos or close editing. I have played with Lightroom on the tablet and enjoyed it. I can say I am looking forward to Photoshop coming to tablets instead of Photoshop Express. I would recommend this multitasking machine.

After coming to the iPad after two android tablets I must say there’s a dramatic upgrade here. Everything from screen resolution to lack of lag to simplicity of operating system is an improvement. Not much to say other than I am very impressed with the overall build, the design, and the available apps.

My daughter made a suggestion that if I get the new gen iPad Pro that I could give her my old first gen iPad Pro 12.9. I wanted to get the new gen, but thought what would I do with the old one. So, her suggestion was perfect and I got the new gen. From a users stand point I'm not really noticing much of a difference. In all fairness I have to say I haven't gotten into any processor intensive apps yet. Don't get me wrong I don't regret getting it. I know it has a lot going for it under the "Hood" and with the new IOS, 11.+, and the use of the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard its like the Apple iPad commercial, "What's a computer?"

My iPad 3 was 5 1/2 years old when I got a new iPad Pro 10.5 inch. My iPad 3 still works but the difference in speed in image with ability to use iOS 11 the stylus I guess it’s called the Apple Pencil and the new easily attached keyboard makes this more like a mini computer than an iPad. But it has all the wonderful features of an iPad that I’ve come to love since 2012. Go for at least the 256 GB memory and then you can download movies you can store lots of photos and again this lightning fast iPad with excellent screen and super battery life is a pleasure!

It had been a while since I had purchased an ipad and did extensive research. If you can get the PRO. If you are doing any work/fun with good looking graphics it's worth it. I also got the keyboard...it transforms the way you use your Ipad. Very impressed.

I had a 9.7” iPad Pro, but chose to buy the large iPad because I watch a lot of basketball and movies. Basketball looks a lot better on the larger screen. The picture is great and it is the typical iPad, but it is really big. For everything but watching movies/sports, I find it too big. Too big to easily take with you. I sold my iPad Pro when I bought the giant iPad and have now purchased an iPad mini so that I have an iPad that is easy to take along. Unless you are watching sports or video, I would not recommend such a big iPad.
