Imac is Premium Product is as Expected

Great computer for intermediate editing and content creation
Wonderful computer for what you need it for. If you can spend the money I highly recommend it, as I mainly use it for my flow in and out of various adobe apps. I primarily use Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects with 3D rendering and it handles it pretty well, and the added bonus of the 5K displays helps with color grading. Also the ability to adjust the RAM makes it a bonus as well as if I need it p, it’s there to adjust.

Best purchase decision in a very long time
My new Imac is beautiful. Upgraded from a 2012 MacBook Pro. My only issue is not the the iMac but the transfer of files from the Macbook to the Imac. Used the Migration Assistant but not all documents and files transferred so just spend two days trying to figure it all out since Catalina is a bit different in how music, movies, etc are handled. Overall though very happy with the purchase .... and wonderful to have a big screen again.

Excellent computer with Essential, Invaluable AppleCare Support
Excellent computer, great performance in a beautiful package design; however, after my setup experience I wouldn’t advise buying it without AppleCare. I had extensive, difficult problems migrating files from my previous, 10-year old model to the new computer. I needed extensive, invaluable senior advisor-level assistance, which I regard as an essential add-on.

Phenomenal option for those who can’t afford the iMac Pro
The computer is phenomenal, it’s the best option for someone who is working with pro-level video but doesn’t have the money for an iMac Pro. You see the specs, you know what it can do. This thing cuts through 4K footage with no worries. Save your money and buy the ram separately and put it in yourself, super easy and save a few hundred dollars.
