By far, the best MacBook Pro apple has released yet. Built like a tank, it fixes all of the issues previous MacBooks had since 2012 unibody. The butterfly keys are no longer an issue, the overheating no longer an issue with the i9s, and the screen cabling issue has been reworked as to not disconnect as the 2018 models did. I would get more of these if I could but since the intel series MacBook are discontinued these are going to get hard to find. So glad I grabbed the last of the i9 while it was available.

Bought a new MacPro in July but was worried about migrating my data from the old MacPro. Last Saturday I bit the bullett and was shocked how easy it to was to make the transition. It was accomplished in less than 3 hours with a Thunderbolt cable and the two Macs. Wow, great!

It's a Macbook Pro - what more can I say. Incredible screen and great piece of hardware. Will last for years. The one it replaced still works (I just gave it a new battery) and is from 2011. I bought the new one because of the larger, more advanced screen and the fact I could no long load the latest operating system in the old one.

I run Windows for work at least several days a week and doing it on M1 is possible although [currently] unnecessarily difficult and error prone. An amazing, fast, 16? Intel Mac is what I was hoping to find. I read so much negative info about the touchbar (functional keys) but I found them absolutely useful (along with the Esc key being a physical key). The machine has so many cores in i9 cpu that I don?t have use for at least 4 of them :)) as for expansion ports I use small dongle for SD card reader with a tiny USBC-to-USB3 adapter. Or and has to buy a USBC based HDMI cable for my second monitor.

I bought this computer primarily to run Photoshop and Lightroom. With 32 GB RAM, the computer is very fast and a substantial improvement over my Windows system with 12 GB RAM. My biggest surprise is how much I like the iOS operating system. Being an exclusive PC user for over 30 years, I was a bit afraid of the transition. But after a few hours looking up differences, I now prefer iOS to Windows and even use MSOffice products for MAC exclusively.

My main reason for getting this laptop is to make tethering easier. It works great! I might get a monitor to connect with it so I can use it for Photoshop s well. I have 2 other Mac Computers, but this laptop is so much faster than the other 2.
