I got it as a gift for my boyfriend. his current Apple Watch don't have cellular. that's not a big deal you can still make calls on your watch IF you have wifi without the phone being present. but if your stranded without a phone and no wifi then your SOL. reason why we are upgrading. also stainless steel is more durable than aluminum. he's a truck driver so stainless steel will hold up better with his day to day job

A testimonial to Adorama’s superb customer service
I’m not writing about the Apple Watch 5 which I purchased. Instead, I”m writing about our experience with Adorama’s customer service team. I bought the watch for my sister in law; it was shipped to her address in Sacramento. She received a delivery confirmation email on the day of delivery, but no watch was to be found on her doorstep. She suspected porch pirates. She called Adorama and they told her that if it didn’t turn up within ten days, they would replace it. Sure enough, on day ten, they credited my account for the full purchase price of the watch, no further questions asked. That is incredible customer service! In case you’re wondering, several days after that a neighbor delivered the watch to her. It was mistakenly left at his address while he was away on a business trip. The watch is being returned to Adorama.

A Worthy Upgrade
I upgraded from a series 2 42mm to a series 5 44mm, and the most worthwhile upgrade for me has been the quality of the screen. My old watch faces look larger on the series 5, and the new watch faces for this watch are great! I also appreciate the always-on display on the series 5, although it is causing quicker battery drain than before. This is not a dealbreaker—I am used to charging my watch daily, and there is an option to turn off the feature. Overall, this series 5 watch feels very familiar to me, but the newer features make for a worthy upgrade.

Great both as a watch and activity tracker
Purchased this for my wife and she loves it. The always on feature, while it may drain the battery faster, is nice touch and helps gives this watch a better overall look when just on the wrist. She uses this daily for overall tracking and also for activity specific tracking. The color matches her Iphone and macbook air, so that was a big win.

Series 5 is a solid upgrade
I’m loving the new Series 5. I get value from the always on display every day. No problems with battery life either. My only disappointment is the watch band selection through Adorama, since buying from Apple gives you the option to customize.

Great watch but go with the series 4 if you can find a good deal...
The watch itself is great. I haven't had any problems. The always on display is nice, but probably not worth the extra money if you can get the series 4 on sale. Many retailers are discounting the series 4 for Black Friday.

Beautiful and functional
This is my first Apple Watch. I can keep my phone in the house and wear the watch in the house and garden in the yard without carrying the phone. It picks up signals immediately. I did not get the cellular plan as I always have the phone nearby. The phone keeps track and motivates you to be active. I already lost one pound this week. I have the gold colored watch as I wear gold jewelry all the time. I should say the color could’ve been a more yellow gold (I have Indian jewelry) but it looks great anyway.
