I got this laptop on sale for $900, and for that price I really couldn't beat it, especially after my other laptop died. I upgraded from a 1050 to the 4060. This laptop is light and smaller, so it'd be perfect if you're like me and move to different places when your playing games.

Not bad but no great. The thermals are a bit high even after repasting with noctua thermal paste and using thermal grizzly thermal pads. The are constantly ramping up even with nothing but windows running. I used Throttlestop to drop the cpu max wattage to 40 watts and was able to tame it and still get great performance in games such as CoD:MW3 and baldur's gate 3. For the price tag it is an amazing machine and will do whatever you want it to do. And has plenty room to do thermal mods for those who dare void their warranty.

I bought this above maybe a year from now and when I did it was going great and smooth but then I had trouble with the fans and if you check on YouTube tons of people are having that same issue/problem the fans make a weird cracking sound and are super loud and I spent 65$ to get the fans cleaned and they said that the fans are broken.

I am writing this review after my 6 months of usage. Before I made the purchase, I read some reviews indicating the battery life for this model is really bad. I didn't think too much of it but that was proven to be a huge mistake. For the 6 month's of usage, the battery life keeps on shortening until I have to plugin to the outlet all the time to use this laptop. Called Acer for warranty support, and they told me I had to mail in the laptop for a repair service. After 2 weeks of dropping the laptop of mailing, they called me and informed me that they cannot repair the laptop because they found evidence of liquid with the laptop which voids the warranty. I was totally surprised as I was using this laptop for my daily work and I had never had a spill incident. Regardless, they decline to repair the laptop and told me the only other option is to spend another $1500+ tax for a replacement. This is a computer that is still 6 months new, and I have never had a laptop of this low quality lasting so little time. I fully regretted buying this laptop, and should have sticked with Dell, Lenovo or Apple. So buyers be aware of what you are getting. Acer, I am moving on and will never buy another piece of junk of this brand.

My 12 year old son bought this laptop remanufactured from ACER with his lawn mowing money and did not get an option to buy the extended warranty only the 90 day. Of course soon after the 90 day expired the laptop does nothing but bluescreen. I attempted to restore from a restore point I created the 1st day we fired it up but during the restore it froze and bluescreened again. Now it will not even get to windows. I don't know if it was hardware or software related but not very happy with the experience so far.

I was excited when I received it but after using it for a while, the laptop is a disappointment. The only good thing is its abundant storage. Besides that, the battery drains very fast for a new laptop. When I play games, it only lasts for 1.5 hours (I only open the game and also use a cooling pad). When I don't, it lasts for about 3 hours. It also occasionally shuts down by itself which is very frustrating. I barely use the laptop so I'm quite baffled of its poor performance. Should have returned it earlier.

I bought this a year or so ago and it was great at first, ran all my games fine but now it stops charging randomly. It uses too much power for a 135W powerbrick and now I'm constantly trying to get it to charge again every single day. The battery is fine, no amount of resetting it is going to help this and it's very frustrating.

Great all around gaming PC, you only spend for stuff you want, RAM, Processor, and Graphics card. It boots up from start in about 10 seconds. Keyboard lights up and you can remote control the fans. Negatives. Only 500GB harddrive. This will fill up rather quickly. But it is why the price is so good.

I got the laptop for an early Christmas gift in November 2021. It was doing great until it died a couple days ago. After it died, the laptop wouldn't turn on. At all. Even after charging. I got it to work with a trick I googled. Of course that wasn't the end of it, as today I came home from work to a "critical battery" screen, despite having been charged beforehand. Whether it's the charger, the charging port, or the battery itself, it is extremely poor quality to break after just 6ish months of use. I won't be recommending this to anyone.

Bought it over a month ago and I love it. No issues. I have a cooling pad because it does run hot, but it's expected. Plays all my games smoothly. Great product and price for mid-range gaming laptop.
