I bought this laptop 8 months ago. Was happy with it up until now. I had never moved it off my desk but I bought this specifically because it's supposed to be rugged. The first time I put it in a high quality, well-padded, rigid laptop bag and walked 0.6 miles straight down the street with it, the entire screen was spiderwebbed and cracked when I took it back out. I didn't drop it, slam it, smack it, bump it, cram it, bend it, or anything. So as long as you don't move your laptop, it should be fine. If you do move it, beware: the screen might just fall to pieces. Customer service said any physical damage is not covered by warranty, even though no physical damage occurred to the laptop. I believe this was a manufacturing defect, the screen must have been installed incorrectly for it to stress fracture that way just by moving it. They offered to fix it for $600. I've had Toshiba, Dell, and Lenovo laptops in the past that each lasted years in spite of drops and falls and continued working and didn't break. I'm extremely disappointed by the "rugged" Acer Enduro that can't last 9 months, even without any falls or drops. I own an Acer desktop as well but after this experience, I won't be purchasing Acer ever again.

I love absolutely everything about this ruggedized, minimalistic, productivity laptop. The modern aesthetics make it look as though it's ahead of its time. Easy to upgrade. Runs Debian on an F2FS like a champ.

We are having ongoing issues that seem to prevent the screen from waking up when coming out of sleep mode. We have installed new graphics drivers and the latest Windows updates, which seemed to help for a few days, but after that seemed to revert back to only having a black screen after returning from sleep mode. Would not recommend.

Price was paramount, we were looking for a tough book till we examined the price. The ops manager was very pleased with the apparent quality of this produce.

I switched from a computer I got in 2015 and I'm really impressed with the difference in speed! There's also a lot more space on the hard drive so I don't have to worry as much about constantly deleting things I want to keep. It's really easy for me to use, and I really like having a backlit keyboard in case I need to use this in the dark. I also like how sturdy it is. A lot of modern laptops try to have a really sleek look, but I don't like those because I get nervous about breaking them in half. But the Enduro definitely seems durable enough and fast enough to last for years! Definitely a really good value.

I ordered an Enduro Urban N3 laptop, and it came with a bad touch pad out of the box. Rather than send me a new one, I was told I had to send it back for a repair, which would take 10-14 days, or I could buy a second unit and return the first. Time was sensitive so I bought a second unit and returned the first. When the second arrived, it seemed okay for a couple days, then the touch pad started having problems. It would stop responding for 2-5 seconds then start working again. This time I sent it in for repairs and I have not received it back yet. I'm excited to have a semi-rugged laptop, but this seems like a poorly made model. And Acer's policy of fix it or buy a second and return the first isn't customer friendly.
