My first choice

I own a larger ball head which I use for heavier work. I purchased the Acratech for every-day use and macro work. It is solid, smooth, is easy to use and set up and light weight. The build quality is top notch. For macro work you want a head that will stay set where you put it when it is locked down and this head does this. Highly recommended.
