No problems with this plate. Easy to use. I only wish it had a place to screw in my BlackRapid strap without removing the plate.

Good plate for the price, well made but does not have provision for a hand strap or accessory threaded hole. The mounting screw is not captured so could be lost.

Plate fits my 5D MKIII perfectly per the Acratech Web Site. Light weight and attaches easily.

used this along with the acratech GV2 ballhead and it worked very well. My setup included 5d mk 3 with 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 f4 and the system was very stable and rock solid. One gripe however is that i wish the bolt that screws on to the body was designed to stay in place after unscrewing. This would not be an issue if the plate stays fixed, but i had to swap bodies and had to be really careful not to loose the bolt. Simple, good quality and less expensive when compared to brands like RRS.

It fits so well, I leave it on my camera for quick and easy attaching to ballhead. Makes use of tripod much easier.

This is very well made and has the added benefit of preventing the camera from rotating on the screw while in the portrait position. It attaches and unattaches with an allen wrench which makes conversion to a strap most inconvenient.

This is an excellent plate. It attaches very solidly. The custom fit curves around the back of the camera enough to keep it from rotating in portrait orientation. It's very sturdy and I have total confidence it will hold my expensive gear securly. My only criticism is that the price seems a little high for a seemingly very simple piece of machined aluminum.

This is the required plate for use with the Acratech head; It is solid, attaches well to the base of the camera (D300) and is very expensive. Be aware that that a hex key is required to attach the plate to the camera so it is intended to be placed on the camera for the long-term.

A great plate, fit and finish is impeccable, a good compliment to any Acratech ballhead that has a quick-release feature. Doesn't come loose or wiggle. Fits on the D300s as well as the D300.

Plate holds D300 firmly but does not have safety screws on bottom side. Overall, excellant product.
