As with all Acratech gear, this is solid and precisely built. It is flawless for its designed purpose. If you don't use a custom L bracket, this is the next best thing.

I am happy to see that it also fits my 5D mark III well.

This is not designed to be removed frequently -- not that you can't, but 1) the screw is not captive and can get lost, and 2) the screw uses a hex wrench. You put it on, and you leave it on, and it serves you well. I will be buying a couple more.
