This is my first Acer laptop/tablet. I really liked it! Its best alternative to MS Surface Pro at such a low competitive price and premium quality.

Really like the design. I rarely use it as a tablet, but it certainly works well in that mode. I love the size, the weight is not a problem and the keyboard works well. I've had one issue with an error in windows, but I think it was strictly a software problem. Battery life is not great, but is adequate. I give it 5 stars. If you are looking for a thin and light "Suface" type computer at a better price, this fits the bill.

If you have to have the very best, without regard for price, this is probably not what you are looking for. However, it is very good at what it does, and for its internals, it's by a large margin the best value that's on the market at present (At least as far as I found in my research before buying.), especially if you can get it on sale (I got this model for ($) on Adorama.). The current usual listed price of ($) makes it barely cheaper than the i7 version with everything else the same which you can find through other retailers, in which case I would probably recommend the less than ($) increase for the better processor. As for the tablet, it is very quick; the keyboard cover feels good to type on, and has backlighting. The trackpad seems good, though until now I've generally avoided using a trackpad as much as possible, so I'm probably not a good authority on that front. From not using a touchscreen Windows device, and particularly not a active stylus, I find it quite useful. The pen in particular can be nice, if nothing else for accuracy in hitting small buttons or links, or selecting text. I have not used it yet for drawing, other than some experimenting with handwriting recognition. I bought this for two primary reasons: 1) To have a portable computer for using at college; and 2) for use in audio recording. For the first point, it's quite light, very compact, good keyboard cover, and has a nice bright screen. Major selling point for the second purpose is that it has an i5 processor (and i7 options) making it quite capable of running good audio software, and yet does not have any fans; instead, it has a pumpless liquid cooling system, so it's completely silent (SDD drive, so now disc spinning either.). Hence, no noise to get picked up by microphones. Connectivity includes a new USB-3.1 type-C(no Thunderbolt 3, sadly), which can be used to connect to extra displays by means of a hub. Overall, a very nice buy for those looking for a lower cost yet still very capable 2-in-1 PC.
