It's a nice camera, but it has some things to be aware of.

1. The image has lots of "pin-cushion" effect. A rectangular object filling the screen will look like a pillow. You can fix some of this by using 2x or 4x zoom.
2. The camera has no image stabilization, so it won't work well on a dirt road (or any road). I don't know how this compares with other cameras.
3. It won't remember some of your settings. Zoom, EV, and even white balance settings go away when you power the camera off. The one I bought needs at least -1.0 EV else it will over-expose. It isn't fun having to set it up every time you turn it on.

For the price, there is a lot to like about this camera, but be aware of some of it's limitations.

I found the camera amazingly good very impressed it’s a little camera and  it acts like a big lens I have used it on the beach near the water I’ve used the photo I haven’t the video but I assume it will be as great as  as the stills And it’s the best buy I’ve ever had for the money

Good camera, easy to use, and the price is my favorite, colors are good as well as image quality. I use to video divers a lot. Very happy with it.
