Built from two immensely powerful M2 Max chips, M2 Ultra is our largest and most capable system on a chip (SoC) ever. It joins two M2 Max dies through UltraFusion - a custom packaging architecture that provides 2.5TB/s of low-latency interprocessor bandwidth between the dies using very little power. So M2 Ultra looks like a single piece of silicon to software, which allows apps to scale up to the larger chip.

The 24-core CPU in M2 Ultra leverages 16 high-performance cores and 8 high-efficiency cores for industry-leading performance per watt.
