I have been pleased with this purchase. The sand bag appears to be well constructed. It is at its best on a "c" stand. Although I have used it on the standard tripod legs it wants to slide down so that you lose the advantage of the full 25lb weight. Twenty five pounds doesn't sound like a lot but you don't want to carry this thing very far without a dolly or similar transporting device. If you are shooting outdoors where the slightest breeze can bring down your expensive lights this is a "no-brainer" investment. It would get 5 stars if there were a loop on one end that could be fastened around tripod leg stands to keep it from sliding off.

As described, it weighs 15 lbs. and is pre-sewn, so no need to worry about leaks. While not as bulky or heavy as other bags with more weight, putting two of these on a larger stand gives you 30 lbs. without breaking your back, which is nice. Kicks off a c-stand smoothly, and the green is a nice color to have in order to distinguish it from other bags when using them with other pieces of gear. Go for it.
