Amazingly strong stand...
The Avenger stands are the only stands you need to look at for studio work. They are extremely tough, durable, and practically indestructible. Built very well from the ground up. My only nitpicking is that these stands are heavy and bulky. I'm not expecting Avenger to come out with something of the same specs but lighter and collapsible, I'm just saying that it ain't no $20 cheapo light stand you find on some other site! This is the real deal.
The Avenger A2025LCB High 8.30' C-Stand 25 with Sliding Leg, rises to a maximum height of 8.30'. It has one sliding leg that can change height independently. This feature enables safe and stable use of the stand on stairs or other uneven surfaces. The Century Stand has a black painted finish. The leg design provides a very low center of gravity and makes it easy to bury in the soil or sand, or accept sandbags for extra stability. It is durable and designed to collapse flat for easy transport and storage.
