Avenger's Century Stands are not only 10% lighter than their predecessors but have been re-engineered for rugged dependability, safety, and grip-friendly handling.

Now the company has introduced the next generation of Stands with some exciting upgrades that will make them even more popular on film, video, and photo sets from coast to coast.

The Century Stands are made from hi-tensile chrome steel saving 10% in weight and have a redesigned universal top stud for greater compatibility with a wider range of lighting equipment and accessories. In addition, the riser column has been redesigned to virtually eliminate the possibility of pinched fingers. And, to accommodate industry demands for taller stands, we have now added a 60" model with Classic, Sliding Leg or Detachable bases. This version with Detachable Base, allows disassembly for easy travel.

The next generation Century Stands retain all of Avenger's trademark features including: triple-plated marine-spar-grade finishes; captive T-handles that won't fall out or get lost; secure, screw-less brake shoe mechanisms that protect the risers; tough, deep set plastic feet; and field serviceable parts.
