Just outstanding.  Heavy as the Dickens, but so stable, and so great at raising and lowering heavy continuous lights and modifiers, especially rigs on boom arms.  I use a burly assistant sometimes, but usually in my studio I'm solo, so the lifting power AND safety make this a must.  Just love it.  Really not that hard to get in my mini-van either.  Note I did try a different brand, and it doesn't come close to the quality, safety, and stability.  Avenger is the king of cranking light stands, in my opinion.
