After years of industry-leading innovation, Adorama presents the Symphony I/O Mk II 32x32 Special Edition Thunderbolt Audio Interface, a state-of-the-art device that redefines the boundaries of professional audio recording and monitoring. This high-performance audio interface offers an intuitive, touchscreen front panel, providing easy access to essential input and output settings. Adjust your input selection, monitor levels, mic pre gain, or calibrate your Symphony I/O Mk II to harmonize with the levels of your other analog gear, all from the front panel.
The high-resolution TFT display provides critical visual feedback for recording and monitoring, allowing you to view metering for up to 64 channels of I/O, 32 IN x 32 OUT. Monitor signal levels, polarity, muting, phantom power, and Soft Limit, all without needing to glance at your computer.
The Symphony I/O Mk II is engineered with advanced temperature controls to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The improved fan and chassis ventilation design allow for quiet, efficient cooling of components. Access these temperature controls directly from the touchscreen or through the Symphony Control software.
The Symphony Control software for macOS offers comprehensive access to all features and functions of the Symphony I/O Mk II Thunderbolt. Manage gain levels, routing, output levels, calibration, and set up multiple mixers with ease. The software also supports the new Monitor Workflows, enabling effortless configuration and operation of your monitoring system for Dolby Atmos, Sony 360 Reality Audio, and other immersive audio systems with control of up to 32 speaker outputs.
The Symphony I/O Mk II also operates in Standalone Mode, allowing you to set up and use the device without a computer. This mode is ideal for use with Hi-Fi Systems, standalone AD/DA converters, and preamps, and can be used to expand other interfaces, connect to live or studio digital consoles, or connect to broadcast equipment.
The Symphony I/O Mk II is built on Apogee's legacy of superior sound quality and performance. It features the most refined analog-to-digital converter ever designed by Apogee, offering the lowest distortion and greatest dynamic range of any A/D converter in their lineup. The D/A section has been optimized with a powerful, robust analog output driver, capable of driving virtually any input without any decrease in performance.
The Symphony I/O Mk II includes ESS Saber32 DAC Technology, offering unparalleled dynamic range, ultra-low distortion, and unmatched audio clarity free from input jitter. The device also features an audiophile-grade headphone amplifier with Apogee's Constant Current Drive technology, providing massive power while maintaining extremely low distortion and linear frequency response.
The Symphony I/O Mk II Thunderbolt delivers the full potential of Thunderbolt 2 performance, offering the lowest latency, unmatched CPU efficiency, and two ports for connecting additional peripherals. The custom driver includes a revolutionary Direct Memory Access (DMA) engine, providing the highest resolution signal possible to the DAC stage while making a very light demand on your Mac CPU.
The Symphony I/O Mk II 32x32 Special Edition is Apogee's best-performing conversion ever, offering a greater dynamic range and a lower total harmonic distortion. It's built for immersive audio and runs 20% more efficiently than its predecessor. Experience the difference with the Symphony I/O Mk II 32x32 Special Edition Thunderbolt Audio Interface.
