The AEE MagiCam S70 Special Edition Action Camera with Waterproof Housing captures Full HD video at up to 1080p at 60 frames per second and can shoot up to 16 megapixel JPEG still photos. It also features a slow motion mode that captures HD 720p video at 120 frames per second. Built-in Wi-Fi allows the camera to be controlled from an Android or iOS mobile device and footage can even be edited remotely with the changes saved to the card in-camera. A 2" LCD screen is included and is detachable to reduce the camera profile or for use in a housing. The included housing features an IP68 rating and is waterproof to 33'.
The Sport S70's ultra wide angle lens provides up to a 170deg. field-of-view to help ensure none of the action will be left out of the frame. The aperture is fixed at f/2.7, designed to allow as much light as possible pass to the sensor for recording in low-light situations. The lens is fixed with no zoom, but to get a closer shot without cropping in post you can use the 10x digital zoom feature to magnify the central portion of the image.
The S70 features a thumb-screw tightened mounting system and includes a quick-release interface so that the camera can be quickly be detached from whatever mount you may be using. Flat and curved adhesive mounts are included and there is a range of alternative mounts available separately to cover just about any scenario. There is also a 1/4"-20 tripod socket for use with standard camera support equipment, including tripods, monopods, suction mounts, stabilizers and more.
The camera records photo and video internally to microSD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards and supports sizes up to 64GB. There is a mini-USB port for file transfer and charging. Audio is captured with a built-in microphone or you can use a separately available microphone to mini-USB adapter and record sound from an external audio source.
Detachable 2" LCD Display
The detachable TFT LCD display allows you to monitor and review video and photos on a 2" color screen. Navigation keys allow you to change settings from the menu and there is a mono speaker for audio output.
Built-In Wi-Fi Connectivity
Control the camera using a mobile app at distances up to 328' away. Review what you shot and even edit the footage remotely - any changes get saved back to the card. There is an app for both Android and iOS devices or use the DRC10, a separately available Wi-Fi remote from AEE.
16 Megapixels with Multiple Photo Modes
Capture JPEG still photos at up to 16MP. The camera features standard, timer and 10 frames per second shooting modes
33' Waterproof Housing Included
The housing protects the camera from rain, snow, mud and is safe for water sports including snorkeling and scuba diving. An IP68 rating means it will also protect the camera from sand and dirt.
Image Flip
In-camera image flips means you can mount the camera upsid e and not have to spend time in software correcting the image.
Built-In G-Sensor with Auto START/STOP
The camera automatically starts recording once acceleration above a certain threshold is detected. It will automatically stop recording after three minutes of non-movement.
Flexible Mounting Options
Two flat and two curved adhesive mounts are included for affixing the camera to a variety of surfaces. Plus, a range of separately available accessories make it possible to put the camera just about anywhere - from clipping it on a cap to a mounting it on a bicycle handlebar.
10x Digital Zoom
In-camera cropping while recording or taking photos means you can effectively magnify the center of the image for greater emphasis.
Dedicated "Press-to-Go" Toggle Switches
Four slider switches on the front of the camera next to the lens provide direct access without entering the menu to the following Power ON/OFF, G-sensor ON/OFF, Metering mode Frame/Spot, Wi-Fi ON/OFF, there is also a front-panel record START/STOP button.
