The Revar Cine Rotating Polarizer, also known as Rota-Pola, is a compact, single-stage, self-contained unit that provides an easily rotatable polarizing solution for most matte boxes compatible with 6.6x6.6" filters. Unlike other models requiring a full 6.6x6.6" glass filter, the Rota-Pola tray utilizes an included 162mm-diameter filter nestled within the rotating tray.

Adjusting the polarizer is a breeze. Simply rotate one of the geared wheels extending from the top of the tray on either side. The included filter is a 162mm mid-efficiency circular polarizer, manufactured from premium Schott B270 glass. It boasts a 38% transmission rate, resulting in only 1.5 stops of light loss, and features a Broadband anti-reflective coating to reduce unwanted flares.

The tray's lightweight and rigid aluminum construction ensures sturdiness without adding unnecessary weight. Insert it into a top-loading 6.6x6.6 matte box tray slot and spin the gear on either side of the filter tray to rotate the filter inside. This design allows for easy rotation of the filter without the need for cumbersome locking and unlocking of a rotating filter stage.

The Rota-Pola Tray stands out from the competition with features like standard 0.8 pitch gears on both sides of the filter tray for use from either the operator or assistant side of the camera, a 1/4" clearance hole for mounting a wireless follow focus for remote crane or jib operation of the filter, and an overall lightweight, low-profile design.
