I'm really just reviewing to respond to Nagai, who says in another review here that you "just need a changing bag to load the film." No, you don't. That's the entire point of this device is that you don't need a darkroom or a changing bag. You attach the tongue of the film to the clip that's on the reel, close the lid, then load it in the darkness of the tank. If you needed a changing bag, you'd be much better off with a Paterson tank - much less expensive and you can get them from 1 - 5 reels in capacity! This is great for developing a single roll of film at a time. The only drawback that I found, other than only being able to do one roll at a time, is that the blade cuts the film off right at the opening of the cartridge, so if you're like me and like to re-use your cartridges to bulk-load film, you can't leave a 1/4" a the end like I do when I'm loading film by hand in a bag or darkroom. Otherwise, this remake of the Agfa Rondinax is great!

It makes film development extremely easy and quick. Pours in and out very easy, and you don’t have to shake: just turn the knob. Great product both for its function and design.

Developed first roll the day I received it. Start to finish with Cinestill Df96 monobath 15 minutes. Negatives cleaner than those from my local lab. Looking forward to running 6X6 from my TLR and 6X12 from my Reality so Subtle pinhole through this gadget. After some more successful practice with the Lab Box I will try C41 processing.

Great box - does NOT require a changing bag as reported by another reviewer!

From the innovative minds at ars-imago and the creative design team at VIVO Design Studio in Rome, Italy, comes the LAB-BOX Film Developing Tank + 2 Module Kit in sleek black. This revolutionary product is the first multi-format daylight-loading film developing tank, designed to streamline and simplify your film developing process.
The LAB-BOX is a versatile tool, accommodating both 135mm and 120mm film rolls. This is made possible by the two interchangeable modules and its multi-format reel. The universal and modular design of the LAB-BOX allows you to switch between 135 and 120 film rolls with ease, simply by changing the loading module.
Compact and portable, the LAB-BOX is designed with the on-the-go photographer in mind. Its small size makes it easy to carry in a bag or backpack, ensuring you can develop your film wherever your adventures take you.
The LAB-BOX is not just user-friendly, it's also professional-grade. It's perfect for beginners looking to get their start in film photography, but also robust enough to meet the needs of more experienced photographers. With the LAB-BOX, you can experiment with different developing processes, offering a new level of creative control.
The 135 Module features a film slot where the 35mm cartridge is positioned and secured. After the film is clipped and the lid is closed, you simply rotate the outer knob to load the film onto the reel. An internal blade then cuts the film, separating it from the cartridge.
The 120 Module is equipped with two compartments. The roll is positioned in the top compartment, and the film is automatically loaded into the bottom one. After closing the lid and pulling out the black backing paper, the film is loaded into the second, lightproof compartment. The film can then be clipped, and the outer knob rotated to load the film onto the reel.
The LAB-BOX also offers the option to partially or fully submerge the reel in liquid, allowing you to experiment with different types of agitation. Once the chemicals are inside the tank, you can agitate them as required by rotating the outer knob. This turns the reel, ensuring the correct movement of liquids for a uniform development.
The LAB-BOX Film Developing Tank + 2 Module Kit is a testament to the power of innovative design and cutting-edge digital manufacturing technologies. It's a sturdy, easy-to-use tool that brings the magic of film development into the light of day.
