As the demand for higher resolutions continues to grow, the Corvid 88 stands out with its ability to combine SDI connections for multiple 4K/UltraHD channels. The Corvid 88 is equipped with PCIe Express Gen 2.0 8-lane, supporting up to eight independent channels of 3G, HD, SD-SDI I/O. It accommodates all SD/HD/2Kx1080/4K video formats and offers 3G input/output for High Frame Rate (HFR) support. This high-quality card also features 8/10-bit YCbCr and 12-bit RGB frame buffer formats, 4 independent Mixer/Keyer widgets, and 8 independent 16-Ch 48 kHz SDI embedded audio I/O engines. It supports Analog Color Black or HD Tri-Level Sync and comes with a built-in RS-422 connection for controlling external devices for frame-accurate ingest and layoffs. The Corvid 88 is a multi-stream, multi-format PCIe I/O card that allows AJA Developer Partner applications to access up to eight simultaneous input and output streams on a single PCIe card. This makes it an ideal solution for ingest and playout servers as well as channel-in-a-box systems. With its high-density ingest and output capabilities, each BNC connection on the Corvid 88 can be set programmatically as either an input or output, and each can support a different video format, provided all formats use the same clock timing. Connections can also be linked together to support dual link or 4K/UltraHD formats. The Corvid 88 supports 4K (4096 x 2160) and UltraHD (3840 x 2160) High Frame Rate (HFR) workflows. It can work at frame rates of 48p, 50p, and 60p, ensuring smooth motion for the most demanding 4K and UltraHD applications. High frame rates are not limited to 4K and UltraHD with the Corvid 88, as multiple 720p and 1080p HD inputs and outputs are also supported at frame rates up to 50p and 60p, making the Corvid 88 extremely flexible for your current and future needs. The Corvid 88 is a powerful platform for AJA's Developer Partners, allowing them to incorporate AJA products into their systems.
