Supporting High Frame Rate (HFR) up to 60p for 4K/UltraHD, this converter ensures pristine image quality with single cable simplicity. It's an ideal solution for deploying monitoring connections from professional 4K 12G-SDI devices to new displays with HDMI 2.0 inputs, offering cost-effective monitoring in professional workflows.

The Hi5-12G-TR also generates HDR metadata in accordance with HDMI v2.0 and CTA-861-G, providing a wider and richer range of colors, brighter whites, and deeper, darker blacks. This High Dynamic Range (HDR) support enhances your 4K/UltraHD/HD HDR pipelines to HDMI compatible displays, delivering natural, true-to-life colors to your audience.

Equipped with a 12G-SDI single link input and a reclocked SDI loop out, this converter simplifies SDI confidence monitoring or pass on for SDI pipelines. The Fiber SFP equipped Hi5-12G models, including the Hi5-12G-TR transceiver, deliver a 4K/UltraHD SDI or Fiber source signal to an HDMI destination, with pass on of the source through SDI or Fiber to a secondary destination.

The Video Source Auto Switch Over feature in Hi5-12G-TR provides automatic input changeover with configurable Switch Over Priority selection. This ensures seamless operation, even in the most demanding professional environments.

The Hi5-12G-TR also supports Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) HDR displays over HDMI and can compensate for resolution differences between 4K and UltraHD signals, making it versatile for various workflows. It also supports up to 16-Channels of embedded SDI audio on input and can pass to 8-Channel of embedded HDMI audio on the output, with the ability to delay the audio for proper synchronization with the output video.

This durable and reliable mini-converter from Adorama is small enough to fit behind a monitor, in the back of a rack, or directly on a camera rig, making it an essential tool for live events, broadcast, and post-production applications.
