About AJA Corvid 44 12G BNC

As the latest addition to the Corvid product line by AJA, this 8-lane PCIe 3.0 I/O card is equipped with four bidirectional 12G-SDI full-sized BNC connections, designed to handle the most demanding multimedia projects.
The Corvid 44 12G BNC is a powerhouse of performance, capable of supporting HFR 8K/4K/Ultra HD, 2K/HD, SD, Deep Color, and HDR formats. It offers 10-bit 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 color spaces, up to 12-bit, ensuring the highest quality for your projects. Its 12G-SDI ingest and output are backwards compatible with 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, and 1.5G-SDI, providing flexibility and compatibility with a wide range of equipment.
This multi-format PCIe I/O card boasts four bidirectional 12G-SDI spigots with a Reference Input. It supports 8K Input or Output using quad 12G-SDI cables and 4K/Ultra HD I/O with either a single 12G-SDI or 6G-SDI cable or quad 3G-SDI cables. 2K/HD I/O can be achieved with a single SDI cable or dual link SDI, allowing simultaneous capture and monitoring via SDI.
The Corvid 44 12G BNC is available in configurations with either active (fan) or passive cooling (no fan), both versions supporting RS422 and LTC Input via headers on the top edge of the card. It supports high frame rates up to 50/60p for 8K (8192 x 4320) and Ultra HD2 (7680 x 4320) workflows, as well as film rates of 23.98, 24, 47.95, and 48p across 8K, 4K, and 2K.
With its built-in hardware downstream keyer, you can easily overlay graphics and images on the input video in real time up to 4K. It also provides an external, switchable LTC/Reference Input connection on the back of the card, and an internal RS-422 connection for control of external devices for frame-accurate ingest and layoffs.
