AJA CORVID 44 Standard-profile 8-lane PCIe Card, 4x SDI Independently Configurable, No Cables Included

Enhance your audio and video input/output capabilities with the Corvid 44 Standard-profile 8-lane PCIe Card. This high-performance card allows you to individually configure each of its four SDI connections as either an input or output, enabling you to mix formats for up to four HD or SD channels on a single card. As the demand for higher resolutions increases, you can combine SDI connections into a single 4K/UHD channel, offering remarkable flexibility and future-proofing your system.

The Corvid 44 PCIe Card features PCIe Express Gen 2.0 8-lane technology, supporting up to four independent channels of 3G, HD, SD-SDI I/O. It's compatible with all SD/HD/2KX1080/4K video formats and offers 3G input/output for High Frame Rate (HFR) support. The card also supports 8/10-bit YCbCr and 12-bit RGB frame buffer formats, and includes two independent Mixer/Keyer widgets and four independent 16-channel 48kHz SDI embedded audio I/O engines.

This multi-stream, multi-format PCIe I/O card allows AJA Developer Partner applications to access up to four simultaneous input and output streams on a single PCIe card, making it an ideal solution for a wide range of medium-density applications.

Each BNC connection on the Corvid 44 can be set programmatically as either an input or output, and each can support a different video format, as long as all formats use the same clock timing. Connections can also be linked together to support Dual Link or 4K/UHD formats.

The Corvid 44 supports 4K (4096 x 2160) and UltraHD (3840 x 2160) High Frame Rate (HFR) workflows. It can work at frame rates of 48p, 50p, and 60p, ensuring smooth motion for the most demanding 4K and UHD applications. High frame rates are not limited to 4K and UHD with the Corvid 44, as multiple 720p and 1080p HD inputs and outputs are also supported at frame rates up to 50p and 60p.

The Corvid 44 provides one external, switchable LTC/Reference input connection on the back of the card, and a second LTC input is available on an internal header for providing additional reference. It also includes a built-in RS-422 connection for controlling external devices for frame-accurate ingest and layoffs.

The Corvid 44 is equipped with four Frame Stores (In or Out), four Color Space Converters, two Mixer/Keyer widgets, four 1D LUTs, four Dual Link In, four Dual Link Out, and four independent 16-channel embedded audio engines. Please note that cables are not included with this product.
