With its 3G-SDI input, it ensures an extremely high-quality signal representation through to the HDMI output, making it an ideal choice for RGB workflows where image quality is paramount.One of the standout features of this mini converter is its ability to output a 30-bit Deep Color RGB signal when used with a compatible HDMI monitor. This allows for an incredible color representation, enhancing your viewing and editing experience.The Hi5-Plus also excels in audio integration. It supports up to 16-channels of embedded SDI audio on input and can pass to 8-channel of embedded HDMI audio on the output. It also offers the ability to delay the audio from 0 to 7 frames for proper synchronization with the output video. Additionally, it features two channels of analog audio output for direct external monitoring without the need to disembed the audio separately.For professionals working with PsF formats, the Hi5-Plus offers PsF to Progressive conversion. It converts incoming 1080PsF signals to 1080p, a progressive signal compatible with HDMI monitors.Ease of use is further enhanced with the inclusion of AJA's free MiniConfig software. This software provides a user-friendly graphical interface with detailed information about the current input and output formats. It allows control over all the parameters of any supported AJA Mini-Converter and enables loading firmware updates from AJA that add new features and functionality.The Hi5-Plus is not only compact and portable but also comes with a universal power supply that includes international plug connections for use around the world.
