The OG-12GM is more than just a compact SDI transport openGear card. It's a reliable tool that enables 12G-SDI to quad-link 3G-SDI and quad-link 3G-SDI to 12G-SDI conversion. It's designed to handle conversions from quad-link SDI signals to single link SDI signals, and vice versa at 12G, 6G, 3G, and 1.5G bit rates.
This advanced Muxer/DeMuxer supports both Square Division (Quadrant) and Two Sample Interleave (2SI) input and output mappings. It's designed for use in high-density openGear 2RU frames, including AJA's OG-X-FR frame, and offers industry-standard DashBoard software support on Windows, macOS, and Linux. This ensures remote control and monitoring over a PC or local network for ultimate convenience.
The OG-12GM openGear 12G-SDI to/from SDI Muxer/DeMuxer is part of the openGear standard, ensuring compatibility with other openGear products from certified openGear partners. Its flexible I/O allows for custom connections per card, and the optional redundant power supply provides a failsafe secondary power source.
With Ethernet access, the frame can be accessed via the Dashboard application for overall frame communication. Optional per-card Ethernet access can be installed in the frame for advanced communication with compatible openGear cards.
