It's designed to automatically equalize incoming 3G-SDI signals on the input channels and reclock the outputs to four 3G-SDI outputs each. Alternatively, it can function as a 1x8-channel DA, enabling the same signal to be distributed to eight destinations simultaneously. This advanced device offers dual input capability, effectively doubling the number of DAs in limited frame space. It comes with a 10x BNC rear connector module and is designed for use in high-density openGear 2RU frames, including AJA's OG-X-FR frame. With the new DashBoard software support on Windows, macOS, and Linux, you can remotely control and monitor the openGear architecture. This provides convenient and industry-standard configuration, monitoring, and control options over a PC or local network. The OG-3GDA-2x4 supports SDI rates of 270Mb, 1.5Gb, and 3Gb, with two SDI inputs and eight SDI outputs. The openGear standard ensures compatibility with other openGear products from certified openGear partners, making this device a reliable choice for your professional needs. The DashBoard software offers quick and convenient configuration and control of openGear cards on macOS, Windows, and Linux. The modular rear panel allows for custom I/O connections per card. For added reliability, there's an optional redundant power supply that provides a secondary power source in the event of a primary power failure. A standard Ethernet connection allows the frame to be accessed via the Dashboard application for overall frame communication. Optional per-card Ethernet access can be installed in the frame for advanced communication with compatible openGear cards.
