With the OG-FiDO-2T-MM openGear 2-Channel 3G-SDI to Multi-Mode LC Fiber Transmitter, you can experience unparalleled flexibility and cost-effectiveness for 3G-SDI Fiber conversion. This device allows for extended cable runs up to 700 meters (2296 feet) for OM4 and 300 meters (984 feet) for OM3 with Multi-Mode fiber optic cables. This feature is particularly beneficial for resolving ground loop issues.

Designed for integration in high-density openGear 2RU frames, including AJA's OG-X-FR frame, this device also supports the new DashBoard software on Windows, macOS, and Linux. This software facilitates remote control and monitoring of the openGear architecture, offering convenient and industry-standard configuration, monitoring, and control options over a PC or local network.

The OG-FiDO-2T-MM features 3G-SDI inputs that are reclocked with top-tier input jitter tolerance. It supports 3G-SDI rates of 270Mb, 1.5Gb, and 3Gb. The fiber connector is securely attached to the main card for enhanced reliability and cost savings.

As part of the openGear standard, this device ensures compatibility with other certified openGear products. With an expanding list of products, openGear represents the future of rackframe products.

The DashBoard software provides quick and convenient configuration and control of openGear cards on macOS, Windows, and Linux. The modular rear panel allows for custom I/O connections per card, included with individual cards.

For added security, an optional redundant power supply can provide a secondary power source in the event of a primary power failure. A standard Ethernet connection allows the frame to be accessed via the Dashboard application for overall frame communication. Additionally, optional per-card Ethernet access can be installed in the frame for advanced communication with compatible openGear cards.
