The OG-HA5-4K is an openGear compatible card, supporting HDMI 2.0 up to 60p at 4:4:4, 4:2:2, and 4:2:0. It also supports quadrant (square division) and 2SI (two sample interleave) 4K/UltraHD SDI mapping, offering a versatile solution for various video formats.
Controlled by the DashBoard network control software, this converter supports HD resolutions and offers embedded audio support. It is designed for use in high-density openGear 2RU frames, including AJA's OG-3-FR frame, enhancing its compatibility and ease of use in professional settings.
The OG-HA5-4K converter also features HDR Infoframe analysis with AJA DashBoard, allowing for a wider and richer range of colors, brighter whites, and deeper, darker blacks. This High Dynamic Range (HDR) support ensures your imagery is dynamic and true to life, enhancing the viewing experience for your audience.
This converter supports the conversion of full resolution 4K (4096x2160) as well as UltraHD (3840x2160) from HDMI to 3G-SDI at frame rates up to 50/60 fps. This makes it a versatile tool for both cinematic 4K productions and UltraHD projects. Moreover, when you're not working in 4K, the OG-HA5-4K can still be a useful tool for converting HD-HDMI to HD-SDI.
The OG-HA5-4K ensures seamless audio-video synchronization by carrying up to 2-channels of embedded audio in the incoming HDMI signal into the SDI output. Its flexible I/O, facilitated by a modular rear panel, allows custom I/O connections per card, enhancing its adaptability in various setups.
For added reliability, the converter offers an optional redundant power supply to provide a secondary power source in the event of a primary power failure. It also features Ethernet access for overall frame communication, with optional per-card Ethernet access for advanced communication with compatible openGear cards.
