AJA ROI-DP DisplayPort to SDI with ROI Scaling and Power Supply

The device comes with a free MiniConfig application, allowing you to interactively select a Region of Interest (ROI) from the incoming DisplayPort signal. The ROI-DP Mini-Converter features DisplayPort to SDI conversion, ROI scaling, and DisplayPort loop-through. It also supports audio embedding, aspect ratio conversion, and Genlock input. You can easily configure the device via a USB port and the supplied MiniConfig software.

The device utilizes a DisplayPort loop-through, enabling it to be placed in-line while maintaining a connection to an external DisplayPort monitor and extracting to SDI. The reference input ensures that the SDI signal output is locked for use throughout a production or facility.

The ROI-DP Mini-Converter accepts 2-channel audio from the 3.5mm analog audio input or embedded 8-channel audio from a DisplayPort input. The audio source and routing can be selected in the MiniConfig software and is embedded in the SDI output, allowing for easy, synchronized routing of computer audio within the SDI signal.

The device comes with a universal power supply that includes international plug connections for use around the world. AJA Mini-Converters are small enough to fit behind a monitor, in the back of a rack, or directly on a camera rig. A locking power connector prevents accidental disconnection, and an optional P-TAP power cable allows for battery power in remote locations.

With the free AJA MiniConfig software, you can control all the parameters of any supported AJA Mini-Converter and load firmware updates from AJA that add new features and functionality.
