The TruZoom application and Corvid Ultra hardware work in harmony to provide a revolutionary system that delivers exceptional Region of Interest selection with AJA TruScale image processing and complete timeline-based keyframe control. This user-friendly software is capable of accommodating a wide range of video formats, from 720p to 1080p, 1080i, UltraHD, and full 4K, as well as Canon C500 RAW data, all at up to 60 frames per second. In live environments such as sports broadcasting and event production, TruZoom's live scaling feature allows a single 4K camera to capture a wide shot of the venue. From this 4K image, TruZoom can extract a Region of Interest and scale that to HD resolution for use in HD broadcasts or recording. This feature offers more comprehensive coverage than multiple cameras and the flexibility to reframe the shot post-production. The TruZoom software integrates natively with the AJA CION camera for RAW workflows up to 120 fps, allowing for incredible slow-motion replays at full 4K resolution. RAW data from the Canon C500 camera can also be fed into TruZoom and debayered in real time using the optional RAW Debayer Firmware with Corvid Ultra. The TruZoom system is the only one that supports the Vision Research Phantom camera's live ST 425-3 output, allowing this high-speed camera to be easily integrated into on-air applications for the first time. The AJA Corvid Ultra provides the real-time input, processing, and output for TruZoom. It can handle 3G, HD-SDI, 4K-SDI, and 4K HDMI with embedded and AES audio capabilities, supporting video formats from SD through 4K at up to 60 frames per second and color depth up to 16-bit half float RGBA with full color space conversion. With AJA's TruScale technology, TruZoom enables high-quality, arbitrary image scaling, allowing it to take any size raster, from the smallest web video to 5K resolution images, and scale to any other resolution while still maintaining the highest possible quality. Corvid Ultra connects easily to any workflow with a full set of video, audio, and data connections, whether you're working in 4K, 2K, HD, or any combination. Its small 2RU form factor makes integrating the power of Corvid Ultra easy in any location.
