The removable front plate lets you install a switch and indicator light. The 3-pin XLR-F connector on the top and 3-pin XLR-M receptable on the back lets you attach many AKG specific microphones and any generic gooseneck extensions with XLR-M and XLR-F connections.

Accommodates Many Microphones
The KM29390 accepts AKG Discreet Accoustics Modular Series GN15E and GN30E 6 and 12 inche and GN50E 20 inch gooseneck extensions for mounting the CK capsule family including CK31, CK32, CK33, CK47, CK80. You can also use the D541E mounted on an 11.25" goodneck extension with XLR-M connector. And if you have generic gooseneck microphones with XLR-M and XLR-F attachments then this stand will suit your needs.
