Following the company’s iPhone announcement earlier this fall, Apple has unveiled brand new improvements to its lineup, revealed this morning at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
Here’s everything Apple announced:
iPad Pro:

The brand new iPad Pro has made its debut, featuring an all-screen design, which Apple marks as the “biggest change to the iPad ever.” It is available in both 11-inch and 12.9-inch Liquid Retina versions that include clean rounded edges, and features Face ID to unlock (like the iPhone X, the home button has disappeared).
Both models measure at just 5.9 mm thin (the thinnest design of all previous iPads), and feature the A12X Bionic chip that makes the entire unit up to 35 percent faster, and includes 10-hour battery life. The new iPad Pro also includes USB-C power and charging, which means you can also user your iPad to charge up your iPhone, as well as a 12MP camera and 4K video capabilities.
“The new iPad Pro is a huge step forward for powerful, creative, mobile computing; it has an all-new thinner design, speeds through projects with the super-fast A12X Bionic chip and unlocks with a glance using Face ID in any orientation — while you’re sitting or standing, with iPad Pro on your desk or lap, with the new Smart Keyboard Folio and new Apple Pencil,” Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, notes in a press release.
Along with the iPad, Apple also announced a new Apple Pencil 2, which allows magnetic pairing and charging to the iPad. An upgraded Smart Keyboard Folio includes adjustments for lap or desk positioning, and includes protection for both the front and back of the iPad.
Both the 11- and 12.9-inch iPad Pros will be available in silver and space gray in 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB, and a new 1TB option.
MacBook Air:

Noted to be Apple’s most affordable Retina-display Mac ever (it retails at $1,199), the new MacBook Air features a 13-inch Retina display (with more than 4 million pixels and 48 percent more color compared to the previous version), an 8th generation Intel Core i5 processor, Touch ID fingerprint sensor, a T2 Security Chip, the Force Touch trackpad that’s 20 percent larger, and upgraded speakers.
The laptop includes two Thunderbolt 3 ports, and boasts up to 12 hours of battery life (13 hours of iTunes movie playback), and weighs in at just 2.75 pounds (a quarter pound lighter than its predecessor).
For the first time in its lineup, Apple announced that the MacBook Air is made from 100 percent recycled aluminum, which reduces the unit’s carbon footprint by nearly 50 percent.
Mac Mini:

With five times faster performance, the new Mac mini features a serious upgrade that also includes 8th generation quad and 6-core processors, all-flash storage up to 2TB SSD, and up to 64GB of memory.
The Mac mini also includes two USB-A ports, four USB-C ports, HDMI video, audio, and Ethernet connectivity, and like the MacBook Air is made of recycled aluminum.
