La'Quata Sumter

La'Quata Sumter has more than 15 years of experience and various certifications in the field of technology. Currently, Ms. Sumter is the Electrical and Computer Engineering Program Chair/Instructor at ATC as well as the founder of Focusing On Me, Inc. (501c3) and Focusing on Me Droneworks, LLC. She started her drone adventure by seeking something new to do other than fixing computers, designing websites, and building robots. As a STEM/STEAM philanthropist and educator, she states that she wanted to find a way to continue to encourage STEM careers and education to the next generation.
