Onne van der Wal

Onne van der Wal, a Canon Explorer of Light, was born in Holland, grew up in South Africa and now resides in Newport, RI. Van der Wal is one of the premier boating photographers in the country and has been at it since 1987. Onne started off as a professional ocean racer on yachts before turning to the camera full time to capture life on the ocean wave. Onne’s work had been published in just about every boating magazine worldwide and has a long list of commercial advertising clients as well.
