Sometimes getting the shot doesn’t just mean having the right camera equipment. Sometimes it doesn’t even mean being in the right place at the right time. Sometimes getting the shot is really comes down to coming up with out-of-the-box solutions to insurmountable problems. In this Tech Tip, photographer and director Corey Rich finds himself in a pickle: he has to shoot a snowball fight with a group of kids. Only it’s spring; the snow is cement and not conducive to making snowballs. His solution of using this food-based product may surprise you. But more than anything, hopefully it will inspire you to come up with your own inventive solutions, get out there and get the shot.
