Meet Iggy and the Cradle. Made by 3 Legged Thing, a tripod company out of Bedfordshire, England, Iggy is a mini tripod, and The Cradle is a camera phone holder. They can perform together, or apart. But who would want to break up this band—especially since Iggy recently won the Lucie Technology award for tripod of the year?

What makes it so special? Built from ABS plastic—which is light and rugged—Iggy features an adjustable bullhead and standard tripod screw mount. It stands 5.5 inches tall for desktop photography, but also can be used to mount microphones or lights. It can handle a 3-pound payload. The Cradle can be mounted on Iggy to create a tabletop support for your phone, or can be used separately as a smartphone stand for planes and trains.

Iggy folds up to double as a selfie stick (yeah, you hate those things but sometimes find them useful) and can also be used as a handle for action cams.  The Cradle can be resized to fit most smart phones up to the iPhone 8 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S8, and can hold them in both vertical and horizontal orientations.

Iggy is available on its own from Adorama for , while The Cradle costs at Adorama.
