Stacy Pearsall, Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force has twice been named Military Photographer of the Year. She served as a combat photographer unitl injuries from an IED in Iraq led to a medical retirement.

Pearsall is now the owner of the Charleston Center for Photography in South Carolina, and a founding member of LegionPhoto, a new photo agency comprised of many of this generation’s top active and retired military photographers, including Tom Sperduto, Aaron Ansonov, Jeremy Lock, among others.

Listening to Stacy Pearsall talk frankly and openly about the course of her career thus far and ambitious future plans to use her platforms to assist others is both refreshing and inspiring. Everyone can learn a lot about making the most of it from this interview.
